The narration of the Prophet's observing prayer in the sheep pen before the construction of the mosque by Anas ibn Malik is one of the narrations that are incompatible with the high dignity of the Prophet

considering its citation in the non-Imamī narrational heritage, especially in some of the six books, and the importance of studying the Prophet's life in the light of reliable reports and avoiding slanderous reports, it is essential to verify the authenticity of this narration. Therefore, validating and studying the accuracy or falsity of this report is the main issue of this research.

The study of correctness and incorrectness of this narration in the earlier Sunni narrative societies is the key issue of this paper which is organized by typology method and comparison of documents and investigating the possibility of its narrator.

Studies show that the first type is a unique variant of the "shobah" that has narrated the narration from the second type, which includes the adverb"Praying in the Sheep Pen" with changes and distortions. This type differs from another version of the narration reported by ibn Hanbal and Ibn Majah from Anas ibn Malik, which doesnot mention praying in the sheep pens.

the second type of narration suffers from textual anxiety It also has the additional clause "Praying in the Sheep Pen", which the narration without additional and offensive clause prefers. The possibility of naming it as permissible and praying in Sheep Pen in Imamiyyah books is another topic of discussion in this article.
