The knowledge of cognition and educational implications are important subjects in educational philosophy. The goal of this research is review of the cognition and its educational implications in the view of Holy Quran which is the most important source for extracting the subjects that are related to educational philosophy in Islam and Islamic education. The result of this essay, which is done by descriptive-analytic method, indicates that Holy Quran granted an extraordinary place for knowledge and cognition; As a consequence, teachers and students were praised in this holy book. By referring to the senses and soul (heart) as the tools of the cognition, Holy Quran mentions that correct application of senses can pave the way for purifying heart. In this regard, the teaching methods that lead to the strengthening and more implication of these tools are further emphasized. This research observes thought as a base for teaching methods in Holy Quran.
