Repetition of some of Quranic themes as well as the quality of the verses' location in each chapter (Sura) has made different judgments. Some have considered the repetition similar to the Holy Prophet's words and some others have attempted to interpret and justify conflicting cases. In the view of supporter of these two assumptions, it’s not necessary to justify the repetitive revelation of verses, because the repetition itself is not prohibited. In contrast, there is another viewpoint which has seen the apparently repetitive themes as independent and complementary to each other and has tried to identify their new goals and points of repetition
Therefore, in this essay in the sake of a right attitude which can has a significant effect on the interpretation of similar verses, eight scenes of prophet Lūṭ's story have been collected from different chapters and compared with each other so as to answer to this question that the similar events of this Quranic story are not repetition, but each section is about to the different parts of the same real and historical event that has occurred in a specific place and time limit and in each chapter according to the structure and quality of its effect on the addressees, some of them have been mentioned so that by being listed together , the story gets completed. The goal of this essay is eliminating the ambiguities in this regard.
