This article deals with the interpretation and analysis of verses 140 to 142 of Surah Safat with the approach of revising the view related to blaming Prophet Yunus (AS) with emphasis on linguistic evidence. . A more detailed examination of the linguistic structure of the verses and words and effective phrases and the semantic focus of the Surah, which is related to the salvation and help of the prophets.It shows that these verses are actually praise and glorification of Prophet Yunus (AS). The present study investigates the existing interpretations of verses 140 to 142 of Surah Safat using the descriptive-analytical method. This research examines and analyzes the words and expressions of "Abbq", "Madhadheen", "Al-Taqmah Al-Hawt" and "Vahomalim" in the mentioned verses and pays attention to the role of the general context of the Surah and the concepts of Prophets' infallibility.These words and phrases have played the most important role in presenting the common interpretation of these verses. The results of this research show that the word "abaq" means running away or going away and going secretly from among the people, and it is not because of the fear of being caught in divine punishment, and it does not imply abandoning the duty of the divine mission.Also, the analysis of the word "Mudhazin" shows that Prophet Yunus was exposed to drowning and the whale had a divine mission to save Prophet Yunus and saved her from drowning and threw her to the shore.
