One of the issues discussed in medical traditions is the issue of eating dinner and not leaving it. On the other hand, some doctors believe that eating dinner leads to unpleasant consequences such as causing eye diseases, earaches, body itching, colic and nervous problems. This research, using a comparative-analytical method and using library sources, seeks to validate a tradition of Imam Sadiq (a.s.), which was reported by Thaqa al-Islam Klini with a valid document as follows: "The origin of the destruction of the body, leaving the evening meal". In order to achieve this goal, after going through the steps of examining the narrative document, the content of the hadith has been compared with the standards of the Qur'an, a family of reliable news and the medical findings of modern sciences. The result is that the narration has a correct document and its content does not conflict with the Quranic teachings. On the other hand, a significant number of authentic news are consistent with the content of the narrative, and experimental and medical findings, although they suggest avoiding overeating and late eating at night, but night hunger is not allowed either.
