While Holy Quran speaks of Seven Heavens, there is not such a thing in new astrology and what astrologists are talking about is just billions of galaxies. The present paper by reviewing the history of the problem of Seven Heavens and the most important theories given for its explanation goes on to claim that there were a kind of special context in the mind of the direct audiences of Holy Quran. It is probable that those who were addressed by the book at that time were the people who thought that there are skies for all the five known stars of solar system and also for the sun and the moon as well. However, due to the inconsistency of the findings of modern science and what appears from the Quran and past tradition, the writer holds that the best way is to leave the exterior explanations and have the best explanation as the true one. Therefore he believes that the word "Seven" in "Seven Heavens" should be meant as a sign denoting just the multiple and not the exact number of the heavens.
