The war in Badr is one of the most important wars in the history of Islam, and the rooting of this event after more than a hundred and five hundred years of the emergence of Islam remains one of the main concerns of historians and scholars of the Islamic world.
Early historians, who were the first exponents of the Prophet's wars, considered the chief designer of the war to be the Prophet of Islam. For them, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards' impetus to enter the Badr war has been the seizure of significant trophies of the Quraysh caravan. While the verses of the Holy Qur'an, which criticize and investigate incidents of the Badr war on various occasions, consider the operation a defensive response of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard against the Quraysh militant behavior. Moreover, its motivation is jihad in the way of Allah, conquest of the right against the falsehood and elimination of the sedition of the polytheists.
This study intends to compare the report of the first scholars of this event with the relevant verses of the Holy Quran and to analyze and then criticize the errors they have made in re-reading the motivation of Badr war.
