Seeking the truth is one of the factors that have pushed the human beings to study on the origin and the end of the life and to believe in the world after death which has been one of the old issues of human. Therefore, theistic religions have informed their followers of a day in which the people will be asked of their deeds. In Jewish and Christian holy books, there have been debates concerning resurrection, reward punishment, and also about the details of the day of resurrection. In both testaments, there are general issues such as the resuscitation of the dead, the Day of Judgment, and Paradise and Hell; but in contrary to testaments, the subject of resurrection in holy Quran has been considered wider and with more details. We in this study have tried to respond the question of how the resurrection will be in the view of theistic religions, with an analytic and descriptive method. On this way, we have compared the verses of Quran and The Bible concerning resurrection and the other world.
