The idea that the contents of the Qur’an are merely stories and its technique of expression is parable alone is a skeptical notion. If left unaccounted, this notion may adversely affect the relationship of individuals with the Qur’an and put the didactic functions of the scripture to question. Those who introduce such notions believe that it is a futile expectation to detect truth in the Qur’an and use it as a proof. They also believe that it is just a theory that the Qur’an is able to defy skepticism. The present study logically examines the approach of the Qur’an to skeptical notions. This is done to prove that the scripture is capable of responding to skepticism. Conducted through a descriptive-analytical method, the study analyzes the common skeptical ideas of 3000 students regarding Qur’anic and philosophical issues. Then, considering the nature of the research and its viewpoint of the subject, the data are collected from library sources, and the reasoning of those sources is evaluated. As the results show, the Qur’an has simplified the concepts with historical statements as well as descriptions and parables, but it deals with skepticisms by reasoning. Indeed, the Book provides a variety of reasons and a body of evidence against what skeptics claim, thus encouraging the use of theoretical wisdom to detect the truth. This process involves one or more of three techniques: a) analyzing the factors affecting the formation of skeptical notions, b) assisting the audience’s wisdom with proofs and evidence, and c) resorting to logical reasoning to detect and prove the truth.
