Abstract

Resurrection is one of the principles of Islam and belief in it is one of the essentials of Muslims, which the Holy Quran has addressed in many Meccan and Madani verses. The method of dealing with it is hierarchical and in several stages, from simple to complex language. This research intends to use the descriptive-analytical method to deal with the discussion of resurrection in Makkah surahs.

The results of the research show that these issues have been raised in three stages: In the first stage, the signs of the Day of Judgment and its certainty have been pointed out, and the emphasis has been placed on hell and its warning, without paying attention to heaven. The second stage deals with attacks on miners, along with more detailed arguments and mentions of heaven and confrontation between believers and sinners, as well as the threat of seduction by Satan and his followers. In the third stage, more detailed and newer aspects of resurrection have been proposed; Such as purgatory, the gates of hell, witnessing of the members and events on the eve of the doomsday, such as the blowing of trumpets.
