There are numerous journals in the field of religious studies; however, considering the vast range of Islamic topics and thoughts, the wide audience of religious studies, and the absence of any scientific-research religious journal at Meybod University, the biannual journal Ketab Qayyem has received official scientific-research publication permission on 29 October 2010 (letter no. 36907/11/3/89) from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology. The journal’s name is derived from verse 3 of Surah Al-Bayyina from the Holy Quran, reflecting its focus on Islamic research (Quranic and Hadith studies).

This biannual publishes articles written in the fields of Quranic sciences, Hadith sciences, or interdisciplinary studies combining Quran and Hadith with other sciences.
