Peer Review Process

Paper processing

Before publication, every paper undergoes a number of steps as follows:

1. Initial evaluation of the subject and the content by the editor-in-chief.

PS: Approval at this step just means the liability of the paper to be forwarded to the reviewers; it would not mean final approval by any means.

 2. In some cases as follows, a paper may be excluded from processing:

a. Inconsistency of the content with the general orientation of the journal (i.e., Qur’an and Hadith)

b. Existence of the author’s name in the main content of the paper

c. Violation of the copyright (plagiarism)

d. Simultaneous submission of the paper to another journal

e. Poor content or language

f. Failure to gain priority for publication

g. Submission of similar texts

h. Lack of innovation

3. Based on the decision of the editorial board, if a paper is approved in the initial evaluation, the author will be asked to deposit 1500000 IR in the journal account and send the scanned copy of the receipt through the journal homepage.

4. Every paper is evaluated by two experts. If one approves it and the other rejects it, a third expert is asked to evaluate it.

***The submitted papers will wait in processing maximally for two or three months. In case of no response from the journal, the authors can take their papers back and submit them elsewhere.

5. To be published, an article needs 65 out of 100 points of evaluation by the reviewers.

6. Once an article is approved, the author has to make corrections, if any, as intended by the reviewers. If the author rules out a comment made by a reviewer, detailed explanation must be given for the disapproval. It is to be mentioned that, after the corrections are made, the author has to provide an itemized list of those corrections or revisions. The list will be submitted to the reviewers for evaluation.

7. When the article is approved by the reviewer(s), it goes to the editor-in-chief and then to the editorial board for the final decision on publishing it.

8. Once approved by the editorial board, the article is sent for editions on its content and language.

9. The author is supposed to undertake whatever content or/and language correction or revision advised by the editor.

10. Upon making the final revisions, the author is supposed to pay 2500000 IR to the journal to account for a part of the publication tasks, such as making a digital profile for the manuscript and translating its abstract into Arabic and English.
