Thus, he ignores the compelling role of the ways, manners and traditions (Sunnah) set by the prophet. As he believes, Muslims, regardless of the Quranic verses and evidence, have generalized the prophet’s functions from message delivery to legislation, accredited his Sunnah and placed it on par with and sometimes higher than the Quran. Through library work and the descriptive-analytic method, this study seeks to prove the validity of Sunnah as something indisputable by the critical examination of Tarabichi’s ideas and reasons as well as the re-enumeration of the prophet’s functions other than message delivery. As the results of the study suggest, Tarabichi’s theory cannot be accepted due to his wrong interpretation of the right of legislation by God and the prophet, mis-substantiation with the Quranic verses stemming from his defective understanding of those verses and lack of a holistic look to cast on them. ­<strong>DOR: https://dorl.net/dor/20.1001.1.22516026.1399.10.22.12.5</strong> جرج طرابیشی نظریه­پرداز نواندیش معاصر با رویکردی انتقادی به دیدگاه مسلمانان، نظریه­ انحصار رسالت پیامبراکرم (ص) به ابلاغ وحی را طرح نموده، حجیّت سنت نبوی را انکار می­نماید. از دیدگاه او، مسلمانان بدون توجه به نص قرآن و مدلول­های برخاسته از آن، وظیفه­ پیامبراکرم (ص) را از ابلاغ وحی، به قانون‌گذاری بسط داده و به دنبال آن به سنت آن حضرت، حجّیت بخشیده وآن را هم‌تراز قرآن و بعضاً مقدم بر آن قرار داده­اند. پژوهش حاضر با روش کتابخانه­ای و رویکرد توصیفی‌ـ تحلیلی به تبیین ادله طرابیشی پرداخته، با نقد ادله وی و تبیین وظایف غیر ابلاغی پیامبر اکرم (ص)، حجیّت سنت قطعی­الصدور رسول­ اکرم (ص) را اثبات می‌نماید. نگاه نادرست به معنای شارعیت خدا و رسول خدا نزد مسلمانان، استناد نادرست و فهم ناقص از برخی آیات قرآن و عدم جامع‌نگری به آیات قرآن در تبیین وظایف پیامبر (ص)، مهمترین اشکالات طرابیشی در نظریه انحصار رسالت پیامبراکرم (ص) به ابلاغ وحی است.<br />   https://kq.meybod.ac.ir/article_1870_d305281faf947ca7acade9ad5c8c818c.pdf
