Fred Donner -the director of the club of Middle East Studies in North America- believes that thinkers and researchers do not have commonly such a belief that the writing of Quran and its collecting were at the time of the Prophet (P.b.u.h) himself, but he believes that the first time, actually Uthman ibn Affan did it. Also according to his belief, transferring of Quran to next times through verbal saying brings about Muslim’s fundamental disputes concerning the text of the Quran and hence was established the problem of disputing on reading (<em>Ghiraˈat</em>) of It. In this essay we have criticized the views of Fred Donner by reference to original and agreed sources of Islam, particularly the news of gathering the Quran and accounts concerning to uniting texts of the Quran(<em>Tohid Masahif</em>). <strong>واکاوی تاریخ جمع‌آوری قرآن کریم و چگونگی انتقال آن از دوره پیامبر اکرم (ص) به صحابه و تابعین و نسل‌های بعد، همواره یکی از موضوعات چالش‌برانگیز در دوره‌های مختلف، تطور تاریخ قرآن کریم بوده و پژوهشگران مسلمان و غیرمسلمان به تحلیل این موضوع پرداخته‌اند. فرِد دانِر مدیر انجمن مطالعات خاورمیانه شمال آمریکا، کتابت قرآن و جمع‌آوری آن در دوره پیامبر اکرم(ص) را مورد اتفاق همه اندیشمندان ندانسته و معتقد است اولین بار توسط عثمان بن عفان بروز عملی پیدا کرده است. همچنین، به دلیل انتقال قرآن به دوره‌های بعد از طریق نقل شفاهی، همین امر باعث شده است تا مسلمانان در مورد متن قرآن دچار اختلافات مبنایی شوند و مسأله اختلاف قرائت بوجود آید. در پژوهش حاضر با مراجعه به منابع اصیل و مورد اتفاق اسلامی، بویژه اخبار جمع قرآن و گزارش های مربوط به توحید مصاحف، دیدگاه های فرد دانر به نقد گذاشته شده است.</strong> https://kq.meybod.ac.ir/article_1387_4fa7c62536118cc404dec4a0ca88d4f6.pdf
